Our Paleo Brown Butter is produced from our own premium cultured ghee, but cooked longer in order to get a deeper, nuttier flavor. While traditional brown butter includes milk solids, we’ve chosen to exclude them in order to provide the same great flavor in a product suited for paleo and other lactose and casein restricted diets.
Our organic, cultured butter is sourced from grass-fed cows raised on small farms in the Northern California coastal region. It’s made in small batches by hand over an open flame. This results in a creamy, nutty brown butter. The milk solids are carefully filtered out, and our slow cooling process provides a enjoyable texture.
Note: Separation is natural. This is a shelf stable product and does not require refrigeration. Use a clean, dry spoon to avoid water contamination.
